The Toronto Reverse Mortgage Learning Network regularly organizes seminars and workshops across Canada and the United States. The aim of the workshop is to create awareness on reverse mortgages and to educate senior citizens to be able to decide if reverse mortgage is for them or not. I reside in Ontario Canada and was introduced to the Toronto Reverse Mortgage Learning Network by an old friend. The workshop was timely as I was about to use my home as security to collect a conventional loan to cover the rising cost of my medical bills and effect some repairs on my home. At the workshop I got introduced to reverse mortgage and later applied. Now I receive a monthly income from my reverse mortgage loan. My home has since been renovated and my monthly bills are not a problem.
